In September, after a years-long court battle, a Multnomah County judge ordered the eviction of the Kinney family from a home that's been in their family since the 1950s. Protesters had been occupying the home and the lot next door since then and early yesterday morning, the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office along with assistance from the Portland Police Bureau, showed up to enforce the eviction.
