Downtown real estate firm cautiously optimistic

The number of people headed to work in downtown Portland has been on the rise in the last month, according to Jim Mark, CEO of Melvin Mark Companies, a commercial real estate firm. Now that the delta variant has led to an increase in COVID-19 cases, many large firms are reconsidering a full back-to-the-office plan, but Mark remains optimistic about the health of downtown Portland’s commercial real estate market.
