Today's episode features our first interview with local trio, Harmonic Howl – made up of members Ruby Ruth George on vocals and guitar and vocalists Brianna Penner and Elle Penner – a group that has been out singing at many local protests.

We sat down with Harmonic Howl at their rehearsal space on Monday, Jun. 23, where we recorded two of their original songs — "The Aisle,” written by Brianna Penner and “We Want Peace,” written by Ruby Ruth George — and learned more about their musical backgrounds, songwriting process and what they hope to accomplish through their protest music.
eorge.

You can find "The Aisle" available on streaming platforms, and find more about the group at harmonichowl.com. You can catch them tomorrow afternoon, Saturday jun 28 during SoHum Pride at the Mateel Community Center.
