Welcome to Heard in Humboldt on KHSU, a program where we play a range of live music recordings from Humboldt County.
Today we’ll be hearing a local group we’ve played a couple times before, the California Poppies, made up of lead singer and rhythm guitarist Dash Rowe, lead guitarist Chris Reynoso, drummer Gabriel Lubowe and bassist William English III. The song we’ll be hearing today is “Do You Have a Rainbow?”-- captured live at the Minor Theatre in Arcata, as a part of the “Holy Rainbow Live” show on Aug. 19, 2023. This song features Russ Thallheimer on sax.
