In 2021, California State Parks launched a new program called the Adventure Pass, which allows 4th graders, along with family and friends, free access to 19 state parks across the state, including Jedediah Smith and Sue-Meg State Parks, both located in our backyard.
This week, North Coast Conversations met with Marlee Chavez, who works with the Blue Lake Rancheria to learn more about the Adventure Pass and how local tribes are using the program to educate and empower local children and families.
