North Coast Conversations: Day of the Dead Humboldt

Dia De Los Muertos has been celebrated for countless generations in latin american communities. Regardless of background, people are encouraged to bring photos of dearly departed people and pets, as well as offerings for them.

For nearly half a decade, Xochiquetzalli and her sister Maria have been transforming Old Town Eureka's Gazebo into a gathering place for the souls.

The ofrendas will be out on November 2nd from 4-8pm, and everyone living or dead is encouraged to attend
