Since 2003, the Humboldt Spay and Neuter Network (or Spay Humboldt!) has been working hard to reduce the number of unwanted and euthanized cats and dogs in Humboldt County, by providing affordable spay and neutering services, along with basic care like vaccines, parasite control, wound treatment, basic illness treatment, humane euthanasia and dental work. They even provide care for our many feral cats.
This week we met with Sarah Dunn from the Humboldt Spay and Neuter Network to learn more about the services the clinic provides, the importance of controlling the pet population in Humboldt County and how you can help support the organization.
