Join local nonprofit, Godwit Days, for a guided birding cruise aboard the historic motor vessel Madaket on Humboldt Bay.

Local birders Kathryn West, Rob Fowler, and Cedrik von Briel will narrate the two-hour fundraising tours, highlighting shorebirds, seabirds, osprey, Peregrine Falcons, terns, gulls, with possible sightings of harbor seals, sea lions, and harbor porpoises.

Participants will meet at the Madaket dock at the foot of C Street in Old Town Eureka 15 minutes before the 4 p.m. departure. Bring binoculars, a camera, and dress in layers. Beverages available for purchase on board.

Tickets are $55, registration is required online at godwitdays.org. Proceeds support the 2027 Godwit Days Spring Migration Bird Festival.
