Humboldt Literacy Project and Humboldt County Library invite families to a Family Literacy Party featuring local singer and songwriter Carl Meredith. Sing along with Carl and see why his original songs become instant favorites at Eureka Library on Friday, March 15 at 10:30 a.m.; at Blue Lake Library on Saturday, March 16 at 12 p.m.; and at Arcata Library at 3 p.m. This is free event is for children and the adults who love them. Each attendee gets to choose a free book to keep. Since 1981, Humboldt Literacy Project has provided free, confidential English Language tutoring with programs for native English speakers, English as a new language, and family literacy.
