Habitat Restoration Volunteer Work-Day at Sue-Meg State Park

The North Coast Redwoods District of California State Parks invites the public to join the Natural Resource volunteers this Saturday, May 13th from 9am to noon for an English ivy pulling party and habitat restoration activity in beautiful Sitka spruce forests. Please meet at the Muscle Rock Parking lot. Pulling out invasive English ivy is a moderate activity and participants are encouraged to wear sturdy shoes for walking off trail. Gloves and tools will be provided. All participants will receive one free day use pass to Sue-meg State Park. All ages welcome. Heavy winds or rain will cancel the event.
