The Humboldt Rose Society is holding its annual rose show on Sunday, June 11, 2023 at Redwood Acres, 3750 Harris St., Eureka, CA.

Do you have a prize-winning rose? Enter it in the Humboldt Rose Society Rose Show.

There is also a photo contest and the public is encouraged to enter either their roses or their photos of roses.

Do you want to know which roses do best in Humboldt County? Come to the Rose Show and see which roses thrive in our coastal maritime climate or hot mountain climate. Submit roses for judging by 10 a.m.

Don't know what type of rose you have? Experts will be present to help ID it.

Never shown a rose before? The rosarians will help you display it. There are monetary prizes for all trophy and certificate winners.

There will be two presentations; one on hybridizing roses and another on soil health with live soil critters wiggling around.

The show is open to the public from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. In addition to roses on display there is a plant sale with roses and rhodies and a raffle.
