Redwood Region Audubon Society will be offering a free public field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!

Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.

The Fortuna Certified Farmers' Market offers the freshest fruits and vegetables, crafts, and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. CalFresh EBT customers are able to receive a market match at every farmers’ market. Visit the market info booth for more information. Open 3-6PM every Tuesday, May-October.

The Natural History Museum of Cal Poly Humboldt is hosting Scientific Illustration night. Second Wednesday of the month. February 11th, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants will draw the specimen collection. Tables with a variety of specimens, Instruction of drawing techniques. After Hours museum experience, music,Art materials (or bring your own). Space is limited so reserve your spot now for a night of fun. Ages Teen-Adult. Monthly event!
