The McKinleyville Certified Farmers' Market offers the freshest fruits and vegetables, hot cacao and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. CalFresh EBT customers are able to receive a market match at every farmers’ market. Visit the McKinleyville Farmers' Market to purchase the freshest farm goods, all non-GMO and grown in Humboldt County. 

​This market has a huge variety of locally grown produce, decorative and edible plants, and locally caught fish.

Vendors come from around the county to bring their bounty to McKinleyville.  Warm weather crops like peaches, tomatoes, and peppers come from as far as Petrolia and Willow Creek, and our own McKinleyville farmers bring coastal favorites like kale and potatoes.  We also have a great selection of decorative plants, like succulents and begonias, and edibles like blueberries, figs, and currants.

Hungry? There's a barbecue truck located IN market just for your convenience! Or, snack on a basket of strawberries or figs as you enjoy the local musicians and spending time with your neighbors.

We are located in the parking lot of the Eureka Natural Foods McKinleyville location, so parking is never an issue and your car is close by to load full of your favorite goodies from the market.  PLUS, make sure to stop in Eureka Natural Foods for whatever else you need to complete your shopping list!

The Friends of the Arcata Library are holding a Fall Fundraiser to support the librarian's wish list. We will be collecting donations through September at the library. All donations will go toward purchasing books at a local bookstore. Come in to the Arcata Library, suggest a title, and and donate today!

Drifters of Wigi: The Tiny Life Forms That Keep Our Bay Thriving. Explore how these tiny drifting organisms play a big role in the ocean. Learn about the importance of Citizen Science to protect and monitor Plankton in our bay. Friday Sept 26th, 2025 from 6:30-7:30pm.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will be offering a free public field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!

Come out to the Humboldt Dockside Market where you can buy fish directly from Humboldt based fishing vessels.

Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,

Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.
