Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,
Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.

The Arcata Plaza Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday, year round, offering the freshest produce, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers, and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. In the Trinidad Town Hall Clubroom, the Civic Club's Unique Boutique will open Saturday, Aug. 30th, from 11 am - 8 pm during Art Night, offering jewelry, memorabilia, vintage items, and clothing, also featuring special items, such as a bronze elk sculpture, a brass telescope, a set of bronze flatware and other interesting pieces. The Boutique will also be open on Sunday, Aug 31st, 11 am to 3 pm. Join us at the last Boutique of the season to find unique treasures to support the Monument project!
Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.
Let's Walk! Trinidad Arts Night returns for 2025!
This town-wide walk includes a variety of art exhibits, live music, artist receptions, face painting, fire spinning, skate ramps, pop-up sales, and oyster, cider, or wine tastings. You may start at the Trinidad Art Gallery, 490 Trinity St, wind your way through exhibits and more, including at Trinidad Museum, and finish up near Lighthouse Grill, 355 Main St., at the bandstand and hear popular dance bands. Some months finish up with a fire show afterwards.

On Sunday afternoon, August 31st, there will be the 90th Anniversary Labor Day Beef and Bean BBQ event, starting at Noon sharp. Come on by and enjoy the famous locally sourced beef and beans served picnic style. Raffle, auctions, pie booth, kids games. Bring your own bowls, plates, silverware and side dishes.
