Redwood Region Audubon Society will be offering a free public field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.
Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!
Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.
Our galleries, museums, theaters, bars and restaurants are open late for your enjoyment.
Tourists and residents alike graze and sip their way around Old Town & Downtown Eureka, where dozens of historic galleries and businesses showcase the works of highbrow and lowbrow artists alike. Enjoy live music and special events each month.
Culture guru John Villani picked Eureka as one of the best art towns in America. By one estimate, there are more artists in Humboldt County per capita than any other county in California. If you visit Eureka during Arts Alive, you should have an easy time counting them as well as their admirers. Free entertainment at many venues.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will offer a free guided birding tour along the Eureka Waterfront Trail on Sundays with leader Ralph Bucher. This relatively urban trail offers the potential to observe species abundance and diversity compared to many more remote locations. This walk is on a flat, paved trail that is wheelchair accessible.
