Patrick's Point State Park and Trinidad State Beach Volunteers Kim Tays and Marijane Poulton are helping to save our State Parks from being overrun with ivy and you can help! Watch native plants resurface after the ivy is gone! The "No Ivy League" an ivy plucking group organized by Kim Tays meets every Friday from 10-12 pm, and there are upcoming work days scheduled February 10, 2018 for Trinidad State Beach, and March 10, 2018 for Patrick's Point State Park from 9:00 a.m. until noon. Call Michelle at 677-3109 or email: michelle.forys@parks.ca.gov. if you would like more information. Listen to the KHSU Magazine interview with Danielle Orr.
