Welcome to the third episode of Heard in Humboldt on KHSU, a program where we play a range of live music performances captured in Humboldt County.
Today we’re playing a recording of a local favorite, the Cal Poly Humboldt Calypso Band. This recording was shared with us by the group’s director Eugene Novotney and was captured live on April 29, 2023 in the John Van Duzer Theatre on Cal Poly Humboldt Campus.
The Calypso Band, with special guest performer Ray Holman, performs Pan in A minor – composed by Lord Kitchener and arranged by Jit Samaroo.
