For more than 50 years the North Coast Rape Crisis Team (NCRCT) has provided critical prevention and intervention services for survivors of sexual assault, including a 24-hour crisis line. Now, facing devastating state and federal funding cuts, this non-profit may no longer be able to provide all its services.
This week we met with Amanda LeBlanc, executive director of the NCRCT, to learn more about the support the organization provides the community, how its services will be impacted by the cuts, and what you can do to help.
For more information or to help with a donation, or to find tickets for the Dancing in the rain fundraising Gala on Saturday, April 5, visit ncrct.org.
Thank you for listening and stay tuned for more episodes of North Coast Conversations as we explore more of what the North Coast has to offer.
