For more than 50 years the Sequoia Humane Society has been helping companion animals, and has operated its no-kill shelter for homeless animals since 2004.
To help raise funds to help our four-legged friends, the Sequoia Humane Society has also been hosting Woofstock – a festival that’s fun for people but also geared toward fun for dogs!
This week we met with Tiffany Elizabeth of the Sequoia Humane Society to learn more about this upcoming festival, what exciting events we can expect, and how you can help support the organization and the animals it cares for.
Woofstock, the ultimate dog-lover’s festival, is happening this Saturday, Aug. 9 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Eureka’s Halvorsen Park. Tickets will be available at the gate. You can find more information on Woofstock and the Sequoia Humane Society at sequoiahumane.org.
You can also make monetary donations to the Seqoia Humane society on the website, or you can donate goods including dog toys, food and cat replacement milk by bringing it into the shelter at 6073 Loma Ave in Eureka.
