The Garberville Certified Farmers' Market offers the freshest fruits and vegetables, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers, crafts and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. CalFresh EBT customers are able to receive a market match at every farmers’ market. Visit the market info booth for more information. Open 11am - 3pm every Friday, May-mid November.

Mark your calendars for our November general meeting, shifting to Friday, November 7th at 6:00 PM due to availability of the County Agriculture Center. This gathering is all about celebration and community—come share stories about your hives, swap tips on overwintering bees, and enjoy festive treats (honey-infused delights encouraged!).

If you entered samples in our recent Honey Tasting Festival fundraiser, those marked for return will be available for pickup. We'll also take time to recognize and thank the dedicated volunteers who made the event a sweet success. Plus, this is your opportunity to provide valuable feedback on how we can improve future fundraisers—your ideas could shape our next big buzz!

Remember, we won't be holding a meeting in December, so don't miss this chance to connect before the holidays. Dress comfortably, bring a snack to share, and let's make it a hive of activity!

Join Maria Morrow, Professor of Botany and Environmental Science in a weird and wonderful exploration of the strange lives of mushrooms that rot, ooze, explode and even puppet insects. We will explore parasite and slime makers you might spot in our local forests. From mycilia free loaders to arthropod body snatchers! The Arcata Arts Institute presents Arcata’s Got Talent Season 5: You’re a Good Tiger, Arcata High! This incredible showcase features students and faculty displaying their talents. Enjoy a show unlike any other on November 7th at 7 pm, doors at 6:30 pm, in the Arcata High School Fine Arts Building! Tickets are $10 for general admission, $8 for students and seniors. Redwood Region Audubon Society will be offering a free public field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!

Come out to the Humboldt Dockside Market where you can buy fish directly from Humboldt based fishing vessels.

Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,

Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.
