Come experience the nuances of different honeys from different regions. On Saturday, Oct. 4, Humboldt County Beekeepers will host a fun guided honey-tasting event. There will be catered appetizers, educational booths, live music, a silent auction, a gorgeous view of the Eel River valley, vendors, and costumes and more. This fundraiser will be a family -friendly event and children 15 and under get free admission.
Come on down to Old Town Eureka to celebrate the Art community during Arts Alive.FROGBITE is an original eclectic four piece band creating a diverse landscape of styles from rock, country, jazz, blues, and all in between. All FROGBITE members are residents of Central Humboldt County.The members are Lisa C. In celebration of Halloween, McKinleyville Shopping Center will be holding its 41st Annual Halloween Costume Parade on Saturday, October 25th at 11 a.m.
Children are invited to visit the McKinleyville Shopping Center for a safe and fun trick-or-treating experience. This free community event is open to all children, and there will be lots of free candy and Halloween treats given out by the merchants. Children should meet by the signs in the parking lot at the Shopping Center before 11 a.m. to join in the fun. We start the parade promptly at 11 a.m. for all participants.
