Open mic at Froth Coffee Bar! We welcome all performances from music to poetry readings! We now have our PA system set up and we are ready to see take our stage!

Self-Breema class will be taught in a receptive and non-judgmental atmosphere where a set of unique gentle exercises will be taught and practiced weekly. The design of the exercises can help to regulate one’s nervous system and focus the mind on the simple activity of the breath and body. You will be introduced to the 9 Principles of Harmony. Exercises will be taught while standing, sitting on a bench or while on the floor. Please come attired in loose comfortable clothes and socks. If you are able to sit on the floor bring a yoga mat or blanket and small pillow. Instructor Gail Coonen is a certified Breema Instructor who has been practicing Breema for 30 years and has been an instructor the last 15.

Have you always wanted to sing but have never felt you could? Maybe you used to sing and feel a little rusty? This class is for you. Learn how your voice works with breathing exercises and fun tunes, while you gain the many benefits of singing. We know you can do it – just sing! A three-ring binder is helpful. The Northern California Community Blood Bank is teaming up with the Trinidad Civic Club for a Blood Drive.

Community is encouraged to participate by donating on the Bloodmobile at Murphy's Market on Wednesday, April 8th from noon to 6PM. All donors will receive a voucher for a slice of pizza from Headies Pizza and Pour and warm, homemade molasses cookies, compliments of Gail Saunders.

Designed to equip you with practical tools and strategies, this course combines expert-led lectures, interactive Q&A sessions, and hands-on assignments to guide you through every stage of the grant-writing process. Each week focuses on a key aspect of grant writing.
Admission is $400.00 per organization; fee covers unlimited attendees from your organization — including staff, board members, and volunteers.

Join Friends of the Dunes for Nature Story Time at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center. Nature Story Time is geared for ages 3 to 6, and is held every Wednesday from 2:00-3:00 p.m. starting February 25th and ending May 6th (skipping March 18th). Each week there is a short story, movement activity and art project for children and their caregivers to enjoy. Upcoming topics dune plants, pollinators, and migrating animals. The Natural History Museum of Cal Poly Humboldt is hosting Scientific Illustration night. Second Wednesday of the month. February 11th, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Participants will draw the specimen collection. Tables with a variety of specimens, Instruction of drawing techniques. After Hours museum experience, music,Art materials (or bring your own). Space is limited so reserve your spot now for a night of fun. Ages Teen-Adult. Monthly event!
