The votes are in and the people have spoken! You selected the ultimate holiday comedy for a family matinee, and we are delighted to deliver the classic family film HOME ALONE. Get ready to cheer for Kevin McCallister as he defends his house from the Wet Bandits in this hilarious and heartwarming holiday riot. We are making this screening an event for the whole family. Thanks to the generous Humboldt Mortgage Company, kids under 12 get in for FREE! As a special holiday surprise, Santa Claus himself will be stopping by with free hot chocolate and candy canes for everyone.

Join Clark Griswold and his family as he plans the perfect "old-fashioned family Christmas" and everything that can go wrong, does. This comedy classic is packed with more laughs than Clark has strands of lights on his house. Relive every quotable moment, from the jelly of the month club to the squirrel in the tree, on the big screen.
And the holiday fun does not stop there. Santa Claus is making a special return visit for this screening! He will be stopping by with free candy canes and hot chocolate for everyone.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will offer a free guided birding tour along the Eureka Waterfront Trail on Sundays with leader Ralph Bucher. This relatively urban trail offers the potential to observe species abundance and diversity compared to many more remote locations. This walk is on a flat, paved trail that is wheelchair accessible. Open jam session at Froth every Sunday afternoon! Various instruments will be available to play: drums, guitar, bass and piano! We will have a mic and PA system available to use as well!

Using the natural power of the Winter Solstice and the wisdom of your body, movement, dance and expressive drawing will bring unconscious aspects of your shadow personality into the light. This powerful work combines personal learning with community creativity and sharing, allowing for balance to be found in the longest night of the year. Wear cozy clothes that allow for movement. If you like, bring a blanket or pillow to sit on or cozy up with. Art supplies will be provided. Suggested donation of $20, with all proceeds going to the Playhouse.

Happening every third Sunday at Om Shala Yoga Studio in Arcata. Hands-on healers offer Reiki, tuning fork therapy, and aromatherapy, enhancing the journey with nurturing touch and subtle frequencies. Each gathering also includes a deeply restful yoga nidra meditation, soul-stirring vocalists, and special guest musicians.

While some props are available, you're welcome to bring your own pillows, mats, and blankets to create your perfect “rest nest.”
