The Arcata Plaza Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday, year round, offering the freshest produce, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers, and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,
Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.

Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.
On the first Saturday of every month, folks from the community will sell their arts, crafts, and produce at our local's market. Join us each Saturday for delicious dinners, seasonal drinks, local's market & line dancing.
On Saturday, July 5th, the Mattole Grange is hosting a dinner dance event, 6 to 11PM. Burgers, hotdogs, beer and wine available. Music performed by the Breakers, a fun rock and roll dance band. $10 at the door. On Sunday, July 6th, there will be the annual Independence Day and 90th Anniversary BBQ event, starting at Noon sharp. Come on by and enjoy the famous locally sourced beef and beans served picnic style, drawings, auctions, pie booth, kids games, craft booths, and there will be square dancing starting at 3PM. Bring your own bowls, plates, silverware and side dishes. The historic Mattole Grange Hall is located next to A. W. Way Park on the Mattole Road between Honeydew and Petrolia. Over-night camping available at A. W. Way Park.
