Open jam session at Froth every Sunday afternoon! Various instruments will be available to play: drums, guitar, bass and piano! We will have a mic and PA system available to use as well!
The Partnership in Music Orchestra (combined Humboldt Symphony and All Seasons Orchestra) is offering a free concert on Sunday, Nov 16th at 2pm at Cal Poly Humboldt’s Fulkerson Recital Hall (1 Harpst Street, Arcata). An additional two free Holiday Concerts will be performed at the Eureka Woman’s Club (1531 J St, Eureka) on Sunday, December 7th at 2pm, and the Fortuna Christmas Music Festival on December 14th we take the stage at 3:30pm at the Fortuna River Lodge (1800 Riverwalk Drive, Fortuna). The performances are presented by Musical Director/Conductor, Garrick Woods, professor of music at Cal Poly Humboldt, and Concertmaster Holly MacDonell.
Selections include the Suite from The Star Wars Epic - Parts I & II by John Williams; March to the Scaffold from Symphonie Fantastique Op. 14 by Hector Berlioz; Unfinished Symphony No. 8 Movement I and Sonata by Franz Schubert; Romanze Op. 85, by Max Bruch. Also, our Holiday Selections include Danny Elfman’s Nightmare Before Christmas; A Hanukah Festival, arranged by Chris Bernotas; Les Patineurs Valses Op. 183 “The Ice Skaters” by Émile Waldteufel; George Frideric Handel’s famous Hallelujah Chorus and two Leroy Anderson favorites: A Christmas Festival and Sleigh Ride.
Community and student musicians of all ages are invited to join All Seasons Orchestra. Auditions are not required. Regular rehearsals are from 10 am to noon at the Eureka Woman’s Club, 1531 J St., Eureka. For prospective student members, our Spring 2026 schedule aligns with Cal Poly Humboldt's Spring semester. Also, in the upcoming Spring 2026 semester, student musicians are offered a chance to play in the Cal Poly Humboldt Symphony. Students can enroll in the class: MUS 1060/4060. An informal audition is required for class enrollment. Cal Poly Humboldt musicians who enroll in these two classes automatically become members of All Seasons Orchestra. The Eureka Chamber Music Series continues to offer a phenomenal season of live music in November, presenting the multi Grammy Award-winning Pacifica Quartet playing concerts in both Eureka and Arcata. The Mainstage Concert on Saturday will feature string quartets by Béla Bartók and Beethoven, as well as "String Quartet in B minor, Op. 11" by American composer Samuel Barber, who later adapted the "Molto adagio" second movement for string orchestra, his famous "Adagio for Strings." For Sunday’s Concert and Conversation, Pacifica will perform one of the most popular works in the entire string quartet canon, Antonín Dvorák's "American" quartet.
Dance the evening away with the legendary activist band of brothers, Clan Dyken, as they bring their Beauty Way benefit to the Arcata Playhouse on Sunday, November 16. Doors open at 6:30 with a finger food potluck followed by Clan Dyken at 7:30pm. All proceeds will benefit the native peoples of Big Mountain, Arizona. It’s a sliding scale donation at the door and you can also donate survival supplies, such as shovels and dry goods. This event is sponsored by Environmentally Sound Promotions. The legendary StrangeBrew Beer Fest is back for its 13th edition, bringing the ultimate pairing of North Coast craft beer and live music to the historic Eureka Theater!
This is a celebration of sound and suds, featuring an incredible lineup of bands and an all-star roster of the region’s best breweries and homebrewers. Prepare for a day where the pulse of live music meets the perfectly strange pour!
FROGBITE is an original eclectic four piece band creating a diverse landscape of styles from rock, country, jazz, blues, and all in between. All FROGBITE members are residents of Central Humboldt County.The members are Lisa C. Sharry: songwriter, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, Paul Agpawa: lead guitar; Shawn O'Connor: bass guitar; and Clayton Bennett: drums.

As the year comes to a close, Humboldt Made is thrilled to announce "Made in Humboldt: A Night to Shine” an end of year celebration, honoring the creativity, resilience, and contributions of local small businesses that keep our community thriving. This festive evening will bring together artisans, and community members for a night of recognition and entertainment. Guests can look forward to local food and drink, live music, and a short program recognizing Humboldt Made member businesses for their accomplishments and community impact.
Join us Wednesday December 3rd at The Historic Eagle House for a party to celebrate Humboldt Made member accomplishments and milestones with food by Locavore Pop Up and music by The Undercovers!Date & Time: December 3rd, 5:30 PM – 9 PM
Location: The Historic Eagle House Ballroom. 139 2nd Street, Eureka.
Food and Drink: Light bites by Locavore Pop-Up included in ticket price. Drinks for sale by The Eagle House who will be donating $1 from each drink to Humboldt Made.
Program: 6–7 PM highlighting member accomplishments and milestones from the year.
Music: The Undercovers from 7–9 PM. The Undercovers bring a youthful energy to the stage that keeps the party moving all night!
Attire: Sparkly and festive - think sequins, shimmery, metallics, and anything that shines!
Tickets: $35 early bird for members (must purchase before 11/17/25 for this price)/ $45 for non-members.
This is not a fundraising event, it’s an evening to unwind, dance, and celebrate all the hard work you’ve done in the past year.
Glitter is encouraged. Sequins are basically required.
