Join us for a walking tour of Ferndale's Victorian Village and Historic Cemetery. A local guide will lead these tours offering you a unique journey into the past.
During each October weekend, five 1-hour walking tours are offered by the Ferndale Cemetery Association. Each tour begins at Ferndale's Visitor Center (580 Main St., Ferndale, CA 95536) and ends with complimentary appetizers at a local restaurant.

The Haunted Kinetic Lab of Horrors, a one-of-a-kind Halloween event, returns to the Kinetic Sculpture Lab in Arcata from October 24th, 25th, 30th and Halloween. Get ready for a spine-tingling journey through a haunted lab where terrifying surprises and creepy creations await.This year’s event promises to be the most horrifying yet, with an immersive guided tour through the Lab's dark corners and twisted rooms. You will encounter the Lab’s unwanted "guests"—monstrous experiments, bizarre sculptures, creepy clowns and live creatures lurking in every shadow. Come out to the historic Carlo Theatre for a special evening of Calypso Music! For over forty years, the Steel Pan has found a home here in Humboldt. The community of players has grown, and this evening will have elementary, middle, high school, college, and professional musicians playing Steel Pan. Blue Dragon Steel Band is a group made up of Blue Lake and Trinidad school students. The Arcata High Steel Pan Club is an after school program supported by the Arcata Arts Institute. The Redwood Steel Band is a community based band that practices in the summertime to keep up their skills when the Humboldt Calypso Band is out of session. Sponsored by the Humboldt Folklife Society and DellArte’ Presents, tickets can be found online or at the door. Saturday, October 25th, doors at 7pm, Show at 7:30pm.
