Come dance for a cause, and support Centro Del Pueblo with a vibrant night of rhythm and community spirit. Humboldt County's hottest Latin dance experience returns with purpose as Fuego Reggaeton Party lights up the Arcata Theatre Lounge on Friday, November 14th, 2025 — Presented by Nostalgia Crew and Arcata Theatre Lounge, this edition of FUEGO is a benefit event for Centro Del Pueblo, an organization united for the empowerment of Indigenous Migrants, Latiné communities, and the youth who lead the way.
The night will feature a Community Ofrenda in honor of Dia De Muertos and an all-star lineup of Fuego’s resident DJs — Statik, Gabe Pressure, D’vinity, and Diablinski, alongside the Fuego Dancers — spinning a high-energy mix of Reggaeton, dembow, Cumbia, Latin EDM and more.

Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!

Join the merry band of ivy bashers at the Fireman’s Pavilion in Rohner Park on the third Saturday of Every Month at 9 a.m. Bring gloves if you have them or you can borrow a pair. Who knows, maybe you will meet a Gnome or two. Sponsored by the North Coast Chapter of the California Native Plant Society and the Fortuna Parks & Recreation Department. Come out to the Humboldt Dockside Market where you can buy fish directly from Humboldt based fishing vessels.

Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,

Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.

The Arcata Plaza Farmers’ Market is open every Saturday, year round, offering the freshest produce, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, bread, flowers, and more! Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will offer a free guided birding tour along the Eureka Waterfront Trail on Sundays with leader Ralph Bucher. This relatively urban trail offers the potential to observe species abundance and diversity compared to many more remote locations. This walk is on a flat, paved trail that is wheelchair accessible.
