Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.
On the first Saturday of every month, folks from the community will sell their arts, crafts, and produce at our local's market. Join us each Saturday for delicious dinners, seasonal drinks, local's market & line dancing.
On Saturday, July 5th, the Mattole Grange is hosting a dinner dance event, 6 to 11PM. Burgers, hotdogs, beer and wine available. Music performed by the Breakers, a fun rock and roll dance band. $10 at the door. On Sunday, July 6th, there will be the annual Independence Day and 90th Anniversary BBQ event, starting at Noon sharp. Come on by and enjoy the famous locally sourced beef and beans served picnic style, drawings, auctions, pie booth, kids games, craft booths, and there will be square dancing starting at 3PM. Bring your own bowls, plates, silverware and side dishes. The historic Mattole Grange Hall is located next to A. W. Way Park on the Mattole Road between Honeydew and Petrolia. Over-night camping available at A. W. Way Park.
Our galleries, museums, theaters, bars and restaurants are open late for your enjoyment.

Culture guru John Villani picked Eureka as one of the best art towns in America. By one estimate, there are more artists in Humboldt County per capita than any other county in California. If you visit Eureka during Arts Alive, you should have an easy time counting them as well as their admirers. Free entertainment at many venues.

Humboldt's biggest indoor Flea Market!
Featuring over 100+ tables of antique, vintage, and second, hand clothes, jewelry, toys, tools, art, ceramics, glass, knick knacks and so much more.
Concerts are a wonderful opportunity to experience the Garden in a new way. Bring your family, a picnic lunch and lounge on the lawn and take in the sounds of local bands before touring the Garden or the Butterfly House. Enjoy a wide variety of musical styles—from Latin and soul to jazz, pop, funk, rock, reggae, and more. Local wine, beer, or non-alcoholic beverages available for purchase. Light refreshments and snacks are also offered. Garden opens at 10am, the music begins at 1pm. NO dogs please.

Calling all grandmas, teachers, moms and dads, school principals and neighbors!Help send a kid to summer camp!Lost Coast Camp—founded in 1997—is a sleepover camp on the beautiful Mattole River in Petrolia. Campers enjoy swimming, art, hiking, cabin life, and making friendships that last a lifetime.We still have spots open for boys ages 8 to 13, and we need your help finding them!
