Take a break from the day and pick a bouquet. We have zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, cosmos, marigolds, and much more. Suggested donation is $5 - 20 per bouquet.

Join Friends of the Dunes for a FREE Nature Story Time at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center. Nature Story Time is geared towards ages 0 to 5 and is held every Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM starting September 30 and ending December 9 (skipping November 25).

Each week there is a short story, movement activity, and art project for children and their caregivers to enjoy.

Join us for Arts in Service, a multi-day event celebrating veterans, community service, and the arts on America’s 250th under the theme "Continuing Service."

The Dinner and Discussion will feature a panel discussion on veterans’ experience of return and continuing service, followed by dinner, then a live music afterparty featuring Americana, country, and blues trio Idle Spurs until 9pm. This event is free and open to the public.

California CareForce is hosting a free health care clinic on November 6-8, 2026 at the Eureka Municipal Auditorium. All services are free, open to the public, and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Patients are encouraged to arrive early, as services are subject to provider availability, space, and time constraints. Services are provided at the discretion of the healthcare provider.

Services include DENTAL (fillings, extractions, cleanings, and x-rays). A limited number of dentures will be provided – must call in advance (916) 749-4170.; VISION (full exams and eyeglasses made onsite); MEDICAL (basic physical, blood pressure, and blood glucose screening).
