The Cal Poly Humboldt Library invites the public to L4Humboldt (LifeLong Learning Lounge), a summer series of events, workshops, and activities that are open to everyone! Weekdays from now through Friday, August 8 at the Library on campus, 1 Harpst St, in Arcata. Admission is free. A 2-week long summer clinic for new junior rowers aged 12-18. Learn to row with a team and enjoy being out on Humboldt Bay.Other summer sessions will start July 7 and July 28. Join KEET PBS and its partners for Shared Stories of Caregiving, a free community event honoring caregivers and exploring the emotional, practical, and deeply human experiences of caregiving.
The event includes: A 30-minute preview screening of the new two hour PBS documentary, CAREGIVING, produced by Bradley Cooper followed by a panel discussion with local caregivers and experts, moderated by Scott Hammond. Resource tabling from local caregiving organizations, and there will be a story wall for you to share your own stories of caregiving.
The full CAREGIVING documentary will air that evening (6/24) at 9:00 p.m. on KEET PBS.

Every Tuesday night from 7:00-9:15pm at the Historic Eagle House in Eureka, Baywater Blues Fusion hosts a half hour partner dance lesson followed by social dancing. Come solo or with a friend to learn and enjoy partner dancing to Blues and modern music. Admission is $5-15 sliding scale. First time is free!
