Take a break from the day and pick a bouquet. We have zinnias, dahlias, sunflowers, cosmos, marigolds, and much more. Suggested donation is $5 - 20 per bouquet.

Enjoy some of Humboldt’s finest food and improvisational jazz on the beautiful Larrupin' Cafe patio & garden every Wednesday evening all summer long. The music of Humboldt County's own Dogbone is a category-defying amalgam of influences and originality — Dogbone calls it "Feral Jazz." The band is led by local artist/sculptor John King.

Every 2nd Wednesday of the month, grab your favorite western wear and let the good times roll as we boot, scoot & boogie across the ballroom floor & under the stain glass ceiling of the Historic Eagle House, located in Old Town Eureka at 139 2nd St.

Come enjoy a beautiful summer day at Brunner Family Farm in Fieldbrook! Our Flower U-Pick is open weekly, inviting visitors to stroll through our vibrant flower fields and create their own custom bouquets from a wide selection of locally grown flowers and foliage.

Bring your friends and family, enjoy the sunshine, say hello to our goats and chickens, and take home a beautiful bouquet you’ve picked yourself. Our farm is located just 12 minutes from Arcata and McKinleyville, making it an easy and fun summer outing for flower lovers of all ages.

Whether you’re new to the board or looking to sharpen your skills, this two-hour virtual workshop will give you the practical knowledge and tools you need to fulfill your role and support the nonprofit organization you’re leading.

Learn to dance Salsa with Latin Dance Eureka! Stay after class to practice your skills with social dancing. All levels of learners are welcome, no partner required. Shoes designated for dancing are highly recommended. $10 drop-in. 707-464-3638

Please join us for our inaugural fundraising gala, Where Healing Takes Root, on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Sequoia Conference Center in Eureka.

This special evening will celebrate the incredible progress Sorrel Leaf Healing Center has made toward opening Northern California's first Children's Crisis Residential Program serving youth ages 7 through 17 experiencing a mental health crisis, while bringing together community leaders, partners, and supporters who share our vision of expanding access to compassionate, trauma informed mental health care for children and families.

The evening will include:

• Delicious hand-passed hors d'oeuvres and culinary stations.
• Costume contest! Thetheme is: Nature (let’s make it fun-come dressed in anything from hiking gear to animals, plants etc.).
• Music.
• Silent and live auctions.
• Time to celebrate with community members, supporters, and those who have helped make Sorrel Leaf possible.
