Enjoy music and hot food vendors at this fun, family friendly event. No pets are allowed, but trained, ADA certified, service animals are welcome. Join other nature lovers in the progress on this small community driven botanical garden which features native species. Contribute as you are able to the creation of habitat for the local bees, birds, butterflies and other little creatures. Take home some cuttings/seeds.

Directions: Go west on Hiller Road to the parking lot for Hammond Trail/Soccer Field/Dog Park. Garden is adjacent to playground.

Redwood Region Audubon Society will be offering a free public field trip at the Arcata Marsh and Wildlife Sanctuary.

Bring your binoculars and enjoy the incredible views of Humboldt Bay, easy-to-walk trails, and a great diversity of birdlife!

Come out to the Humboldt Dockside Market where you can buy fish directly from Humboldt based fishing vessels.

Our commercial fishermen will be taking over Madaket Plaza at the foot of C street, Old Town Eureka on scheduled Saturdays from 9am- 1pm June - November,

Come down, meet your fishermen, and learn about our fishing industry. Captains will be selling their fresh catch open air style. Buy a whole fish and have it filleted on site at our custom fillet station. Making fish stock or need fish waste for your garden?? Let our Market staff know and we will have it wrapped up for you at pick-up. Buckets and Ice chests are encouraged.

Join us on Saturday, September 6th from 12pm to 4pm at Blue Lake Casino Hotel for a pet adoption & fundraiser event. All proceeds from the gate and a 50/50 raffle will be donated to the Humboldt County Animal Shelter Emergency Medical Fund administered by Friends for Life Animal Rescue. The entry fee is a sliding donation of $10. Kids under 10 enter free. Each entry comes with one raffle ticket to win a cool basket of rad stuff.

Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.

On the first Saturday of every month, folks from the community will sell their arts, crafts, and produce at our local's market. Join us each Saturday for delicious dinners, seasonal drinks, local's market & line dancing.
