BLUE LAKE — A mysterious new theater experience is coming to town, and it asks audiences to leave their eyes at the door.
Labyrinth Within, conceived and directed by international performance artist and Dell'Arte alumna, Maria Mar, is a timed-entry sensory theater journey where participants move blindfolded through a series of immersive environments guided by sound, scent, touch, and taste.
Rather than sitting in an audience, guests travel through the experience at their own pace, encountering performers who offer intimate sensory “portals” — whispers, songs, textures, and moments of nostalgia designed to awaken memory and imagination.
Each journey lasts approximately 40 minutes, with small groups entering every 40 minutes.
Performers include Sara Kei, Sean Lang, Tossa Hayward, and Mar. Sound Scape by Lara Etzen. The experience runs April 3-5Friday and Saturday from 6–9 p.m. and Sunday from 2–5 p.m.
Tickets are offered on a sliding scale from $15 – $40. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
Recommended for ages 16+.
