Friends of the Arcata Marsh (FOAM) is sponsoring a free tour of the Arcata Marsh & Wildlife Sanctuary each Saturday. Meet leaders at 2 p.m. outside the Interpretive Center on South G Street for a 90-minute, rain-or-shine walk.
Step into a night of timeless glamour at the 2nd Annual Dancing in the Rain Gala, benefiting the North Coast Rape Crisis Team. This elegant evening brings our community together to support survivors and sustain critical advocacy, crisis response, and prevention services in Humboldt and Del Norte Counties.
Our theme this year is "Old Hollywood Glam." Be swept into a 20's speakeasy with delicious food by Lost Coast Catering, formerly Uniquely Yours Catering, music by local legends Young & Lovely, dancing, and meaningful connection, all in celebration of resilience, hope, and healing. Dress in your Old Hollywood best and be ready to raise funds and a drink throughout the evening to strength, compassion, and social change.
Our galleries, museums, theaters, bars and restaurants are open late for your enjoyment.
Tourists and residents alike graze and sip their way around Old Town & Downtown Eureka, where dozens of historic galleries and businesses showcase the works of highbrow and lowbrow artists alike. Enjoy live music and special events each month.
Culture guru John Villani picked Eureka as one of the best art towns in America. By one estimate, there are more artists in Humboldt County per capita than any other county in California. If you visit Eureka during Arts Alive, you should have an easy time counting them as well as their admirers. Free entertainment at many venues.
