The Forest Moon Festival (May 28–31, 2026) is a multi-city celebration across Humboldt and Del Norte Counties, honoring the region’s iconic role as the filming location for the Forest Moon of Endor in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi.From the rugged coast of Crescent City to the redwood-lined streets of Eureka and Arcata, the festival brings the "galaxy far, far away" to life with a mix of cinematic history and community spirit.
What to ExpectCinematic Immersion: Explore authentic filming history at the Redwood Coast Museum of Cinema, or catch outdoor screenings of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi under the very redwoods that inspired the film.
Family Adventures: Participate in costume contests (including an Ewok-specific category!), scavenger hunts, and the "Rebel Challenge" obstacle course.

The Humboldt County Fairgrounds will come alive with a THUNDER of country music May 30th-31st 2026, with the launch of the first annual STAMPEDE - a two-day country music concert, camping, beer, and wine festival! The event will showcase award-winning beer and wine, all-day entertainment, food trucks, line dancing, and up-and-coming country artists, for an all-encompassing weekend experience.
