Join us Tuesday, October 6th from 5:00-6:30pm in the Kate Buchanan Room at Cal Poly Humboldt for a timely conversation about writing, education, and artificial intelligence. Visiting author John Warner (More Than Words: How to Think About Writing in the Age of AI) will engage in a lively discussion with Dr. Lisa Tremain, Director, First-year Composition Program. The campus and local community are invited to this free event, and we encourage the audience to join the conversation with questions at the end.

Northtown Books will be selling John Warner’s book, and the author will be available for book-signing.

This event is presented by the Cal Poly Humboldt Department of English and the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences.

Join Friends of the Dunes for a FREE Nature Story Time at the Humboldt Coastal Nature Center. Nature Story Time is geared towards ages 0 to 5 and is held every Wednesday from 2:00 to 3:00 PM starting September 30 and ending December 9 (skipping November 25).

Each week there is a short story, movement activity, and art project for children and their caregivers to enjoy.
